SkyFold's folding doors safety features are numerous. The folding doors are built with a heavy-duty sealed industrial motor with an electromagnetic brake that activated right away when there is a power failure thus preventing any movement of the wall until the power has returned. The assembly of the motor uses a spring-cushioned torque arm to lessen the impact of starts and stops. Lastly, the folding doors' sensor on the torque arm detects abnormally high torque levels, interrupting power to the motor. |
