ACOUSTIC FOLDING DOORS
SkyFold's folding doors safety features are numerous. The folding doors
are built with a heavy-duty sealed industrial motor with an
electromagnetic brake that activated right away when there is a power
failure thus preventing any movement of the wall until the power has
returned. The assembly of the motor uses a spring-cushioned torque arm
to lessen the impact of starts and stops. Lastly, the folding doors'
sensor on the torque arm detects abnormally high torque levels,
interrupting power to the motor.
When not in use Skyfold folding doors can be stored in the ceiling so
it does not use valuable floor space. They have no visible hinges and do
not have any floor or wall tracks. This are the only doors that do not
